Dari jumlah tersebut, 76 di antaranya lulus seleksi administrasi dan masuk seleksi substansi yang digawangi oleh 3 kurator: Rina Damayanti, Moriza Prananda, dan Edy Prasetyo.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seleksi ide cerita yang cukup ketat mengerucutkan jumlah peserta menjadi hanya 15 saja yang masuk babak \u003Cem>Pitching\u003C\u002Fem>. Dalam tahap ini, ke-15 tim diberikan waktu presentasi 5 menit paparan dan 5 menit tanya jawab. Adu ide pun terjadi. Melalui Bimtek ini, para sineas mendapatkan pembekalan intensif dari para ahli dan praktisi perfilman, mulai dari pemantapan skenario, penyusunan konsep visual, manajemen produksi, pemberkasan administratif, bahkan dari sisi psikologi anak.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify;\">Di hari kedua,  misalnya kami mendatangkan pakar psikologi sekaligus dosen di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia (1980-2018), Niniek S. Karim. Wanita yang sudah melanglang buana di kancah perfilman nasional sejak tahun 1970-an ini memberikan perspektif dari sisi psikologi anak. Dia menekankan penting untuk memastikan kita membuat film anak, bukan cuma sekadar film tentang anak. Jadi, harus ditekankan perspektifnya memang anak-anak, bukan POV orang dewasa bercerita seolah-olah dia anak-anak.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify;\">Baginya, penting juga bagi pembuat film untuk harus memahami penontonnya. “Pahami juga ya, siapa sih penontonku? Misalnya, penontonku adalah gen alpha, makanya harus pahami gen alpa itu seperti apa? Pikirannya apa? Perasannya bagaimana? Supaya mereka mau ‘mendekat’ dan menonton film kita,” tutur Bu Niniek. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sesi panel tersebut juga mengahdirkan Irfan Ramli, seorang sutradara dan penulis naskah. Karyanya cukup banyak selama belasan tahun menyemplung di dunia perfilman nasional. “Ketika bikin film pendek, sadari dulu format film pendek itu bagaimana.
